I help female entrepreneurs like you effortlessly feel put-together and confident, so they can make more money in their business.
Together we’re normalizing style as a tool for success and empowering other women to see what’s possible when you know your signature style and translate that into a closet full of go-to outfits.
Valentine’s day is around the corner! Is the: “Oh No!… What am I going to wear?!” stress creeping up on you? Not to worry; your style expert is here!
I recently hopped on WKYC Channel 3 Cleveland’s newest program, What’s New, to share outfit ideas for every kind of date night.
Outfit Ideas For A Casual Date Night
Even if your Valentine’s day tends to stay pretty casual, you still want to feel put-together and sassy. It is a romantic night after all!
That’s why this outfit formula is the PERFCT balance between comfortable, casual, and stylish.
Pairing a casual tee with a long necklace, dark wash jeans, and heels works well because you’re merging a traditionally casual outfit with two dressier pieces. With a longer pendant detail necklace and the shine and height of your heels, you can confidently strut into your evening without feeling like you’re overdressed.
These heels are THE most comfortable heels that you will ever wear. They’re made by walking cradles, which can be found on Zappos (not Amazon!) and are super comfy and cute.
You’ll love the snakeskin detail which is chic and on-trend this season. Plus you’ll shine with the little sparkle from this fabulous metallic color! The best part: They also come in black too! (Loving snakeskin? Check out the other Spring 2020 Trends!)
Going out on the town, but not going to a formal dinner spot either? Then give this outfit a try!
When it comes to creating a dressy casual outfit you should leave your jeans at home. Instead, grab your favorite ankle pants from your work wardrobe and pair it with a festive color palette of red + pink. These colors are a major winter trend at the moment; what better way to use it then on your Valentine’s Day outfit? (Love the look, but want more? Check out the four different ways to wear this versatile cardigan.)
To balance out the dressiness of the pants, I suggest pairing them with black knee-high boots. Top off your look with my latest obsession: a piece of resin jewelry. You’ll fall in love with this winter trend not only for its durable plastic material, but also its super-versatile color palette. It will match any outfit you’re wearing!

Outfit Ideas For A Dressy Date Night
Are you and your partner doing it up big by getting dressed to the nines? Then it’s time to pull out all the stops, which means your LBD (Little Black Dress).
You might find the acronym a bit intimidating, but don’t be scared by it! You definitely shouldn’t wear something that is too little, and you don’t specifically need to wear a dress either. You can wear a black top with a black skirt to get the same effect. (Need to know how to accessorize a black dress? Check out my article on how to accessorize for date night!)
Ultimately, you should go with an all black number that makes you feel sexy and confident. Pair it with heels or flats (whatever you’re more comfortable in), and then add a pop of color with pink or red statement earrings. (Need help finding fabulous footwear? Take a look at my list of the best women’s flats.)
You’ll love the ones I found for Stephanie; berry is a color found in most peoples palettes which means you can use them again and again! (Is berry one of your favorite colors? Check out how I styled my favorite berry shirt.)
It's been a fun journey from 10 year old "designer" to full-time entrepreneur and stylist. I'm now a wife to my hilarious and genius husband, Collin. A Mom to my two favorite boys, Jack (6 month old) and Henry (our furbaby). And proud to be back in Cleveland where we were both born and raised!
